The role

We’re on the lookout for a commercially adept, operationally talented Retail Manager to join the team at our Amble Links Coastal Retreat & Holiday Park. In this exciting position, you’ll have what it takes to drive our retail offering forward, taking it to the next level!

Accountable for overseeing the retail aspects on park, including food & beverage, leisure and the entertainment offering (with your main focus being F&B), you’ll use your creative flair to come up with new ideas to enhance sales, as well as the experience of our guests and owners.

Using your strong financial acumen to not only achieve targets but exceed them, monitoring financial performance, developing a strategy, identifying opportunities and implementing improvements accordingly.

In this hands on role, you’ll get involved in the day to day running of the food and beverage complex, really rolling up your sleeves and leading from the front.

Obsessed with great service, you’ll instil this into your team, ensuring they are as passionate as you – delivering fabulous service every time. Your quality focus and attention to detail are second to none, so you’ll set the standard.

You’ll understand what goes into developing people, focusing on engaging with the team, growing our future talent, making sure they are the best they can be.

What we need from you!

You’ll be a dynamic senior commercial leader, who enjoys being hands on and leading from the front; you’ll have previous experience in a food and beverage environment at a managerial level, ideally from a gastro environment; you’ll have a wealth of people management experience, with a proven track record of building and developing teams from the ground up; demonstrable experience and understanding of the legalities involved in the running of food and beverage establishments; level three food safety certificate; liquor licence; ideally, you’ll also have an understanding of seasonal operations and holiday parks.

A basic DBS check is required in order to undertake this role.
