Apply now and you could be working at Pontins Holiday Park’s Head Office, Ainsdale House! We are situated within one of our famous sites, Pontins Southport, and due to continued expansion, we are looking to recruit a Payroll Assistant on to the team.

 

As Payroll Assistant you will be required to;

  • Process multi-site weekly payrolls to ensure payments are made to employees accurately and on time
  • Set up new starters and leavers and dealing with related HMRC forms
  • Reconcile payrolls on a weekly basis
  • Ensure comprehensive payroll records are kept electronically
  • Resolve payroll queries in a timely manner
  • Assist the Financial Controller- duties dependent upon prior experience/knowledge
  • Provide cover in the accounts department when required

The successful candidate must have knowledge of auto enrolment and RTI. You will have a high level of accuracy; ensuring pay, pension and benefits are being paid in compliance with HMRC statutory requirements and company policy. You will have excellent interpersonal and organisational skills, the ability to work in a team and autonomously and able to work well to deadlines and take ownership of tasks.

This position is available on a part time basis and you will be required to work between 25-30 hours per week.
