Cafe Assistant - Downham Health & Leisure Centre

About your role

Cafe Assistant is a key customer service focused role within our leisure centre. You will have the responsibility of helping to provide a friendly, clean and efficient running Cafe.

Greeting customers in a positive, friendly and a timely manner you will serve a variety of food and drinks available within our Cafe. You will establish excellent customer relationships and customer requirements, suggesting the most suitable products and up selling and suggesting promotions. In addition you will seek customer feedback and act on this in a proactive manner.

The post holder will be confident in dealing with customers and ideally have previous experience of working in catering. The role will include cash handling and assistance to the management team of the facility.

The applicant will need an NVQ Level 2 in catering & hygeine to be considered for this Job Role.
