Daylesford Organic – Retail Manager, South Kensington, new opening!
We are currently looking for a passionate and driven Retail Manager for our new store opening in South Kensington.
£27,500 - £31,000 pa including monthly service charge. 50% staff discount, free uniforms, development and many other benefits.
About us
At Daylesford, we’ve been farming organically for over 35 years, first in Staffordshire and then the Cotswolds. What began as a simple passion for real food has grown into Daylesford as we know it today. We are one of the most sustainable organic farms, and own some of the most sustainable restaurants, in the whole country.
About the role
As a Retail Manager, you will be able run the store taking full ownership and leading from the front ensuring an excellent customer experience and great food experience is shared with all.
The role will require energy, lots of confidence and experience of managing a large team. Ideally you’ll have worked in similar food, restaurant or café environments. You will be fantastic ambassador of Daylesford able to engage with our customers, welcoming them and advising our great range of organic products, talking confidently and knowledgeably about the seasons, varieties and flavours of our ingredients, and how organic farming enhances the quality and nutrition of our food. We are open 7 days a week so being able to work flexibly is vital. You’ll be chatting to our customers every day so having a great level of spoken English is pretty important too. You’ll also have a unique opportunity to work with people who truly enjoy what they do as well as the prospect of learning interesting stuff about our farm, our ingredients, our produce, our culture and what makes us special.
Responsibilities;
- Managing, engaging and training team members
- Share and deliver an amazing food and service experience to our customers
- Deliver fantastic produce and outstanding Store, Café and Kitchen cleanliness
- Accurately handle cash while using our till systems
- Learning about our products/production
- Controlling stock and managing the retail budget and margin
