Night Manager- our expectation

·The position demands a conversant excellent knowledge of the cultures and peoples handling. The person must be experienced in dealing with all different Clientele at all levels, particularly executives from corporate and diplomatic backgrounds

·The person should have an excellent grounding in key hotel operations to include Front Office, computer check-in and check-out (Opera preferred). A thorough grounding in hotel reservation procedures and working knowledge of both hotel operations.

  • The person must be supportive, communicative and energetic in their maintenance of their daily duties.
  • Be familiar with the Hotels occupancy and ADR / Rev Par figures.
  • Be fully conversant with the current availability, group movements, special events and functions being held in the hotel.
  • Check on current days/Next day’s arrivals and departures and take appropriate action.
  • Coordinate room availability and house count.
  • Coordinate all VIP movements in terms of amenities, room assignment etc in the absence of Guest Relations.
