Commis Chef - Teddington

About Us:

Situated by Teddington Lock, The Lensbury is a four star Hotel and Conference Centre, hosting conferences and special events, including weddings and private parties. The Lensbury is also a well regarded premium leisure club, with a swimming pool and fantastic gym and studio classes.

The Role:

• The Commis Chef role works flexibly, providing assistance across all sections of the kitchen
• Ensures the highest standard of cuisine at all times whilst avoiding unnecessary waste.
• Follows all Health, Safety and Hygiene Regulations and maintains excellent standards of hygiene

The Candidate:

• The Commis Chef will ideally be qualified to or working towards NVQ level 2 (or equivalent)
• Able to work under pressure and as part of a team
• Have a passion to learn and develop skills across all areas of the kitchen
• Will ensure the highest standards of cleanliness, hygiene and safety are maintained at all times

• Working for a prestigious organisation in a friendly environment
• 39 hours per week working 5 over 7 days including weekends
