About the General Manager role

Joining Marston’s as General Manager for Station Pilot, you’ll be given the autonomy and control to grow and develop this great pub restaurant as your own business. You’ll be given financial control to grow sales and drive up customer and food quality and we’ll also look to you to develop your team. It’s a big role, but it’s a hugely rewarding one, too. Especially as you get to know the locals, host regular quiz nights and welcome guests. There’s lots of potential to grow here and this is a brilliant opportunity to run your own business – and, as you’ll be part of the Marston’s brand, we’ll give you all the training and support you need to be the best General Manager possible.

About you

Maybe you’re currently a General Manager looking for a new and exciting opportunity or the chance to prove yourself? Perhaps you’re looking for a step up from your current position? Either way, it goes without saying that you’re an inspirational leader with a talent for working with and motivating a diverse team of chefs and waiting staff to establish outstanding customer service. We’d also like to see some examples of your upselling skills – particularly when it comes to marketing and engaging new customers.
