Signature Hotel Group are looking to hire a Hotel Procurement Manager

We are recruiting a Procurement Manager to join our Head Office Team in Liverpool City Centre, concentrating specifically on procurement within the hotels.

 

Our ideal Procurement Manager will be an experienced Procurement & Purchasing professional who enjoys building strong and effective professional relationships.

Signature Living is the UK’s most exciting hotel developer and operator.

 

Signature Living currently operates 5 hotels in the UK, including the Signature Living Hotel, The Shankly Hotel, 30 James Street and Arthouse Hotel which are all located in Liverpool. The group opened their first hotel outside of Liverpool in 2017, The Exchange Hotel which is located in Cardiff.

 

The Signature Living Group have further plans for the rest of the UK with four hotels due to open in 2018 including the Dixie Dean Hotel in Liverpool, The Shankly Hotel in Preston as well as The George Best and Lanyon Hotels in Belfast.

 

The group are currently undergoing an exciting period of growth which sees them develop some of the UK’s most recognised listed landmarks including Rainhill Hall in Merseyside.

 

 

PURPOSE OF THE ROLE

 

As the Procurement Manager you will negotiate and identify market-leading commercial terms with suppliers considering quality, service and price.

 

You will also look into other supplier financial support to maximise cash flow and revenue generation.

 

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

 

  • Identify market trends and evaluate new suppliers, products and services
  • Evaluate and respond to for new supply solutions.
  • Revise supplier pricing
  • Carry out regular price comparisons
  • Collate and analyse data in respect of existing and potential sales
  • Actively manage the performance of suppliers
  • Provide accurate supplier rebate and income forecasting

PERSON SPECIFICATION EXPERIENCE

  • Extensive supplier and category management experience
  • Extensive experience in negotiation and contract management
  • Effective management or approach to management of strategic suppliers
  • Experience of working in the hospitality and leisure sector

SKILLS AND ABILITIES

  • Excellent negotiation and influencing
  • Confident in developing and managing high value relationships and supplier accounts
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Competency in writing and analysing
  • Able to deliver on service level agreements
