Fitness Club Manager – Anytime Fitness Ashton-Under-Lyne

The Company

The Role

As Club Manager, you will be responsible for managing a successful membership sales team working to gym opening targets, followed by continued delivery of service and sales targets as well as the day to day running of the new gym facility.

Whilst the gym is open 24 hours, the role is a full time role of 40 hours a week with flexible working arrangements.  A willingness to work weekends, evenings and some public holidays is required.

You will report to the Club Owners.

 

What we want:

You will:

  • have a personal passion for health and fitness;
  • have a strong record of your ability to generate leads, convert sales, and work to sales targets, ideally within the fitness industry but other experience is considered;
  • have experience of effectively managing a small team and motivating them to provide excellent service and sales results on a consistent basis;
  • be confident in managing the sales outreach and passionately promoting the club within the local community to generate brand awareness;
  • be naturally proactive, punctual and self-motivating;
  • be a friendly, outgoing personality and genuinely care about helping others to ensure all members and prospective members are engaged and have a rewarding and enjoyable experience when visiting the club;
  • have excellent communication and interpersonal skills; and
  • have the ability to drive a culture of excellence within our club and exhibit it to your members of staff, current and prospective gym members, and out in the local community.

Desirable but not essential:

  • hold a REPS level 3 qualification or above, or be willing to undertake qualification;
  • proven social media management skills; and
  • experience in managing a monthly P&L account.
