Pay Rates

 Rates of pay - £36612.00 per annum

Shift Pattern and Contracted Hours

Hours: 41.5

Shifts: Circa 41.5 hours per week (2 rotating shift patterns) 1 week 1-9pm & 1 week 6-2pm 

Contract: Temp until end of September 2019 

Job Description

Our food manufacturing/production sites are using automated and semi automated lines to produce great products as efficient as possible. Led by the Engineering Manager, working alongside a close-knit team, you’ll split your time resolving problems, developing engineering improvements to an ever changing environment. Reacting to breakdowns quickly and effectively, comfortably engaging with the site teams to monitor plant performance and equipment reliability all in line with our policies and procedures. 

We are looking for an Electrical Bias Engineer with plc prologic Automation knowledge, preferably Siemens S7.

Skills

  • Educated to a minimum ONC standard or equivalent (with an understanding of how a Food Manufacturing Engineering function works)
  • A recognised apprenticeship in an electrical/mechanical discipline
  • Proven fault finding expertise on a variety of complex equipment ideally within the food industry
  • Experience of working to planned maintenance schedules
  • Multi-skilled with an electrical bias
  • Legal entitlement to work in the UK (e.g. Valid VISA or Work Permit for non EEC residents).
