Housekeeping Supervisor - our expectation

·As a Housekeeping Supervisor, you are responsible for task assignment and supervision of Room Attendants and Porters to deliver a quality product and above all an excellent guest experience.

·A Housekeeping Supervisor is integral to the department for the monitoring of standards and performance and is embodied in taking ownership and responsibility for their assigned section and staff.

·Regular inspection of guest bedrooms to ensure they meet standards for cleanliness and condition.

·Be aware of all room categories and available amenities.

·To check that queue rooms are acknowledged, prioritized and being returned in a timely manner.

·To cover all jobs within Housekeeping which may include cleaning and office coordination duties as and when required.

·To perform daily checks of long stay, in house and arrival VIP’s. This should include introductions and establishment of service times and schedules.

·To pay special attention to any additional cleaning or maintenance required in all rooms including areas specific to outside contractors such as window cleaning.

·To continually check the work of Room Attendants and Floor Porters and to provide remedial training assistance or take suitable corrective action in cases where a member of staff's work is below the required standard.
