As a Head Bartender you will be responsible to provide the highest level of hospitality ensuring the effective and smooth running of the bar operations. You will oversee the bars within our prestige lounges across the Heathrow Airport Terminals. 

Duties & Responsibilities:

• To ensure guest satisfaction and food and beverage profitability by supervising the day to day operation of the Bar department and its staff;
• To carry out all duties as assigned by the Bar Supervisor;
• To handle customer complaints efficiently and promptly within the guidelines laid down by the manager and to refer serious complaints to the Bar Supervisor/Lounge Supervisor/DM;
• To maintain the highest standards of cleanliness, hygiene and safety amongst the bar staff, ensuring dress code and cleaning schedules are followed at all times;
• To be responsible for ensuring the ordering of equipment and food & beverages is completed including stock rotation to H&S standards.
• Conduct weekly training sessions on beverage pouring practice, cocktail mixing, up-selling.
• Leading the training and mentoring of new bar staff into the team
• To ensure our cocktail list it is continually updated and is ahead of current trends.

Qualifications / Essential Skills:

• Previous experience as a Head Bartender in a busy bar environment showing leadership and delegation skills. 
• Hospitality and customer service experience
• Have a good understanding of stock and margin control within a bar environment
• Be confident and professional
• Hold a high standard of personal presentation
• Strong communication and leadership skills
• Positive, proactive and able to work as a great team player
