As Sales & Marketing Executive you will support the Club’s ambitious mission to increase and grow revenue from the accommodation, food and beverage, banqueting, sports and wellbeing, and golf/golf society business streams, plus ensure the Club delivers a focused sales and marketing strategy.

The role:

Working closely with the Senior Sales and Marketing Manager, you will ensure a focused sales effort to achieve agreed financial targets, while also representing the Club for all sectors of group business, including membership and the network of reciprocal clubs. You will also be the voice of the Club, with 30% of the role involving telephone calls to members and membership societies, plus exciting and creative assigned marketing projects.

Building strong relationships with key internal stakeholders at both clubhouses and with external partners with the aim of identifying new revenue streams and growing existing ones is a key duty, as is managing the Club’s print and digital marketing collateral acting as the key liaison between Operations and the Communications Department.

The person:

You will be an outstanding communicator, both verbal and written, with a proven track record in sales in a customer-facing services organisation (hospitality) or charity environment. Adaptable, flexible and collaborative, you will also have experience of working in a multi-disciplined team and a sounding understanding of budgeting input, review and control. Excellent attention to detail, plus strong interpersonal, IT and telephone skills – honed on outbound results-focused tele-marketing campaigns – are also essential.
