etc.venues is an impressive collection of non-residential city centre venues for training, meetings, conferences, exhibition and corporate events.

Currently we are looking for Conference Porters to join our Events Setup Crews in our venues across London zone 1 (location depends on what type of working hours you are looking for)

Available shifts:

• 7:00 - 16:00
• 16:00 - 00:00
• 17:00 - 02:00

Main duties:

• Take care of setup and breakdown for all the events when required
• Setup conference rooms
• Setup chairs and tables for any event that requires them
• Assist with goods in and out of the venue via loading bay

You will also need:

• To set rooms during the day and in the evening for the following day in accordance with client requirements and company standards
• To ensure that meeting rooms that are not in use are set up and available for client show rounds
• To ensure that all meeting rooms, staff offices and common areas are maintained to the highest level of cleanliness
• To ensure that all waste removal is carried out according to Health & Safety regulations and company standards
• To ensure that stocks of cleaning materials are maintained by up-dating stock sheets
• To store and keep a log of lost property found in meeting rooms and common areas
• To carry out duties in accordance with all Health and Safety regulations and company best practise
• To undertake any reasonable requests for ad hoc duties by the venue team

About you:

• Good level of English, both written and verbal
• Available for flexible working hours
• Able to work under pressure in time sensitive environments

Please note: this role involves lots of heavy lifting

This is a zero hour contract, however due to business demands employees will be offered 40 plus hours when required.
