Recreational Assistant/Food and Beverage/Reception and Bookings - Alpine Snowsports Aldershot

Competitive ( minimum wage for your age) + Your hourly rate of pay will be enhanced by 12.07% to account for holiday pay.

For our up and coming winter season we are looking to take on people for the following roles;

Recreational Assistant - Looking after our supporters attending the facility by correctly setting up and issuing equipment, delivering BRILLIANT customer service, safely running and supervising our Donutting & Tobogganing sessions and also helping our team of instructors on children’s Ski lessons.

Food and Beverage Assistant - Working in our Alpine Bar you will be ensuring that our supporters are served promptly with a smile. You will be responsible for looking after your till ensuring that you balance at the end of your shift, maintaining the cleanliness of the Bar, Kitchen and Party Room, keeping display fridges and vending machines fully stocked and also helping to serve food for our birthday parties.

Receptionist and Bookings - As a receptionist you will be the first point of contact for our supporters coming to Alpine Snowsports. You need to greet them on arrival, check them in or book them in for their chosen activity and then help them find their way to the activity. You will also be working with bookings emails, telephone bookings, LiveChat and cash handling. You will be responsible for ensuring all phone calls are answered in a timely manner, all phone messages and emails are replied to on the same day and ensuring your till balances at the end of the day.

All roles do have a cross over with each other so ideal candidates should be flexible and be able to adapt to changing situations.

Ideally, you should also have an interest in Snowsports or be willing to learn and try a new sport.

Interview (group) Friday 28th September 2018 from 18:00 – 21:30

Training Dates;

  • Evening of 2nd October (Induction and Health and Safety),
  • Evening of 4th October (Equipment Issue and Donutting),
  • Evening of 9th October (Safeguarding)
  • Evening of 11th October (Equipment Issue and Donutting cont.)

4 hour contracts and zero hour contracts are available. Roles are seasonal working from October 18 to April 19. Option to apply for a permanent role at the end of the season.
