We are looking for a competent Maintenance Supervisor to join our existing team at Finlake Holiday Resort. Our Maintenance Supervisor’s are responsible for ensuring each shift goes off without a hitch and providing duty management coverage across the department in the Maintenance Managers absence. As a supervisor you’ll be on hand to assist where ever needed while ensuring customers are happy, team members are clearly communicated with and are deployed to the right places.

Our Maintenance Supervisor will drive a key business area working with the Maintenance Manager to hit key KPI's, positively grow the business and services. This role really gives you the opportunity to learn all aspects of the business in preparation for your next career step.

Your time will be split 50% on admin and 5% being out of the park with the teams completing and checking jobs. Jobs can vary from preparing the holiday homes for a customer’s arrival to, fencing, grounds works, painting or building a new archery range! Some jobs and projects are contracted out with others completed by the in house team. Within your role you will assign the jobs, liaise with suppliers and contractors, carry out health and safety checks and quality audits, place orders to ensure the team have the materials they need.There is a huge variety within this role and ideal for an individual who wishes to keep learning.

Finlake is a beautiful 130acre resort with over 400 holiday homes, a new £11 million leisure complex, shop, restaurant, fishing lakes, woodland walks, a new spa is currently being built set to open in 2019. Overall there is a team of 200, we are passionate about delivering the best customer service and providing a 5 star service. Every  team member plays their part, working within a diverse and dynamic team in a fast paced environment.

The successful Maintenance Supervisor will have:

• Ability to carry out maintenance tasks
• Patience to train existing or new team members
• Recognised trade or pool plant operator qualification desirable but not essential
• Supervisory experience of leading and motivating a team
• An eye for detail
• Understanding of relevant health and safety legislation
• Excellent verbal communication skills, including the ability to influence and persuade.
• Intermediate Microsoft Office Skills
• Good numerical and written skills
