This unparalleled lifestyle destination comprises of a homewares and garden shop, a florist, a delicatessen and wine cellar, two restaurants and a central courtyard, Floral Court.

The Shop Set within an impressive Grade II listed building, sunlight streams through three Victorian atriums illuminating the treasures inside our emporium. The Shop offers handpicked collections of homeware, furniture and gifts curated by the Petersham family, including one of a kind, hand crafted pieces and exquisite antiques. Staying true to Petersham Nurseries origins, the Shop is a green space, abundant with specialist indoor plants and magical floral displays along with artisanal gardening tools. A potting service will prepare and plant window boxes and containers for customers to take away.

The Role

We are looking for passionate individuals who would share our philosophy of simplicity, affinity to nature and responsibly sourced produce, and will help us creating an unrivalled setting within the urban environment of Covent Garden. We are looking for employees who would have an enthusiasm for Petersham Nurseries itself, as well as considerable knowledge and love of their own passions be it horticulture, design, philosophy, travel or art.

Essentials:

Previous Retail Experience or a relevant equivalent · Passion for lifestyle industry, Home or Garden

Key responsibilities:

Support and delivery of store sales and KPI targets both group and individual

Deliver Petersham Nurseries customer service expectations, including building of lasting customer relationships

Maintain highest level of store operations, including deliveries, display standards, e-commerce processing and inventory management

Acquiring and developing product knowledge and imaginative ways of conveying it to colleagues and customers

Liaise and support fellow team members and other functions of the business, and ensure productive and positive environment at all times
