Events Executive - Newport

The 'Best UK Hotel' as awarded by M&IT for the sixth time in seven years is currently recruiting within Conference & Events Sales. The 5* Celtic Manor Resort with event space for up to 1,200, 7 Restaurants, 3 Championship Golf Courses, 2 Spa’s and more really is the place to grow or start your events/hospitality career. 

We are looking for an Events Executive - Special Occasions to join our Events team here at the Celtic Manor Resort.

You will be primarily responsible for promoting and selling seasonal events that take place throughout the year to include Christmas party nights, Christmas Day lunches and New Years Eva Gala Dinner. In addition, this role is responsible for converting and managing Weddings and you will run family events professionally promoting the resort at all times.

Desirable work experience for consideration:

• Hotel experience (Conference & Events, Front of House, Reservations experience desirable)
• Degree linking to Hospitality/Events with placement experience
• Sales experience (we will consider applicants from other industries)
