Chef - Nationwide Opportunity

As a chef in the Royal Air Force, you could be cooking and preparing food in some of the most exciting environments in the world. Our chef role is so diverse that you could be cooking for personnel and guests at a function one day and be a vital part of a temporary mobile catering squadron kitchen on an operational air base the next.

RAF chefs cater for everything from five-star themed banquets to competitive cooking exercises and even preparing in-flight meals for cabin crew and passengers on our long-haul flights. Each day you will find new challenges and exciting opportunities, making no two days as a chef in the RAF the same.

Initial pay after training is £18,489 + benefits which include free medical and dental care, subsidised accommodation, sports and adventurous training opportunities and six weeks' of paid holiday each year.

No formal qualifications are required but you must be aged between 16-35.
