Using only quality ingredients our Pastry Commis Chef will be responsible for the preparation of all foods within the Pastry Kitchen, ensuring it is to the highest of standards. You will be quick, efficient and accurate, providing a prompt service delivery. Following the clear directions of the Executive Pastry Chef, you will learn the importance of consistency and cost control.

To be successful in this role you will bring experience as a Pastry Commis Chef in a 5 star establishment and/or experience in a Michelin star or AA rosette restaurant. You will have a passion for food and excellent kitchen knowledge along with an understanding of food safety and hygiene for the environment you will work in. You are likely to have relevant NVQ or professional qualifications although your technical skills and flexibility will be what sets you apart. You will possess good interpersonal skills and have good written and verbal communication skills to enable you to work closely with your colleagues.
