Resourcing Advisor – Retail Recruitment

About the role:

The Retail Resourcing Advisor is responsible for the design, delivery and implementation of our Retail resourcing strategy to attract future talent into the Retail division. Working closely with the Operational Resourcing Manager and the Resourcing Senior Manager you will partner with stores, Senior People Managers in the field, Shared Services , Online Grocery and our external creative agency to drive our attraction strategy across retail salaried, retail hourly and Grocery Home Shopping.

The Ins and Outs:

Provide strategic recruitment support to assist Retail and Customer Delivery Driver recruitment across the UK

Work with internal stakeholders and Asda’s creative agency to design and deliver recruitment marketing solutions for BAU requirement and seasonal peaks

Work with Asda’s creative agency to design and implement innovative solutions for large scale recruitment campaigns for Retail stores, including new store openings

Work with Stores and Senior People Managers to develop marketing materials to support their local recruitment campaigns

Work with Shared Services to ensure all suitable roles are advertised on key job boards so we drive traffic to adverts in difficult to fill locations

Build and maintain a strong knowledge of the external talent landscape for Retail and know where to find critical talent pipelines for priority roles and help drive diverse talent at all levels

Implement a lower cost operating model within our strategic advertising

Partner and maintain effective relationships with Senior Directors, Senior People Managers, Shared Services and the wider team across Retail

Plan, manage and deliver resourcing projects for Retail and be a part of business wide resourcing projects

Be a brand ambassador for Asda Resourcing, driving a positive candidate experience

Be visible, accessible and responsive to your customers, to gain a full understanding of the resourcing challenges and strengthen key relationships.

What you’ll need:

Resourcing or HR background is preferred but not essential or someone who has a background in advertising or marketing and looking to transition into a role in HR

You’ll bring energy and passion as well as a strong customer mind-set

You will be a confident communicator with strong organisational and time management skills and be a brand ambassador for Asda Resourcing continually seeking to create a positive candidate experience
