Overview:

Supply Chain Manager This role takes full responsibility for the management of the food & beverage supply chains within Carluccio's for both the restaurants and the retail spaces (including our online shop). Reporting to the Food & Beverage Director, you will lead the current Supply Chain team and act as the point of contact for the escalation of day to day issues. You will be responsible for developing the overall strategy for our supply chain to include tendering contracts, implementing distributor changes and making recommendations on efficiencies. The role is based at our Covent Garden office, with some travel required (including overseas). Your Responsibilities
• Conducting a complete review of our current food & beverage supply chains
• Recommending supply chain strategy, carrying out relevant tenders, assessing tender & managing any resulting change
• Implement processes for product & new supplier set up, forecasting, stock levels, warehouse stock management and product retirement
• Managing the Supply Chain team to ensure that day to day issues are resolved in a satisfactory and timely manner
• Managing current third party logistics providers to include regular review meetings, contract management, dispute resolution and to explore potential cost saving initiatives
• Managing our web shop fulfilment partner to include regular review meetings
• Reporting to Senior Management team on a regular basis any costs associated with out of date, slow moving or defunct stock and to co-ordinate a plan of action for reducing or eliminating any risks
• Liaising and communicating cross functionally to ensure that supply chain projects are delivered successfully - this includes Operations, Menu Development, Finance and Marketing

Skills & Behaviours
• Experience of managing supply chains within the food sector
• Proven success in tendering supply chain contracts and managing the process end to end from forming strategy to delivery of change
• Ability to manage and lead a small team to ensure they are developed and delivering the highest standards
• Confident in presenting to a cross functional audience to obtain support for ideas that make our supply chain more efficient
• Excellent commercial awareness
• Proactive approach to solving problems
• Open to collaboration - and to work autonomously
