Serving our customers quickly and efficiently is key to delivering our great service and by using the correct process enables us to do this. Every customer expects to receive great service at Asda and subsequently, whenever you’re on the shop floor or on the phone we expect you to give great service to them - customers are at the heart of our business, without them, we have no business! Of course we want you to smile and be polite. But it’s also about listening, talking, being patient, being helpful, looking smart and being calmly efficient… while also being incredibly busy! You could be the vital ingredient that makes a difference to a customer leaving Asda with a smile and feeling that they can't wait to return again soon.

To answer the phone in a warm, friendly and polite manner To inform customers with the use of the tannoy for: safety, selling and service announcement To assist customer refunds and enquiries To assist customers with TV licences for the purchase of TV/video equipment To look after lost property and recording this accurately. With the number of shoppers Asda have going through the stores each week, a process for recording and saving lost property is vital To use systems to record and pass on information and deliver a high standard of service to our customers As the first and possibly the last person a customer has contact with, you may find customers often approach you with their complaints and problems. You will assist in diffusing the situation and taking the necessary action And much more!!
