As our Starbucks Manager you will know and understand what it means to deliver amazing hospitality and will thrive on the challenge of always exceeding guest’s expectations. You will be expected to achieve a level of service through the constant monitoring of our established brand standards. As a result you should be highly attentive to detail and be capable of delivering consistent standards. You should have a warm, personable nature and a can do attitude. In this type of industry teamwork is key; you should be a strong team player willing to lend a hand wherever needed.

You must have experience in a similar environment with the knowledge and confidence to deliver the role described below combined with a passion for delivering exceptional service through your team.

As manager of the Starbucks Team you will:

    Define and execute a local sales and marketing strategy and business plan for the year and monitor progress on the delivery of the strategy operationally and also through the P&L. Ensure brand standards are delivered consistently using appropriate training resources tools and audit measures in the Starbucks toolkit.
    Foster a culture of passion for food and beverage knowledge, conduct tastings in order to maximise sales.
    Plan and cost local marketing activity events to ensure they achieve an appropriate return on investment
    Create engagement in the food and beverage strategy, keep all stakeholders up to date with what is coming up through the Starbucks managers meetings Share experience and personal passion to lead and embed a strong development and culture where training and development is consistently high priority. Recruit team members who embody the role model descriptions of the high performance behaviours.
    Review wage cost and ensure staffing levels are at the appropriate levels to drive conversion. Ensure stock is kept to the correct par levels are in line with specification.
    Work effectively with other departments within the hotel Role model the five high performance behaviours.
