Fitness Instructor - Moor Hall Hotel & Spa, Sutton Coldfield

Moor Hall Hotel is a four-star hotel with 83 bedrooms, conference facilities for up to 250 and its own Leisure Club & Spa, situated on the outskirts of Sutton Coldfield in beautiful parkland.

We have a fantastic opportunity for a Fitness Instructor to join our Leisure Club team.

Our Leisure Club has a modern, air-conditioned gym, exercise studio and 4 therapy treatment rooms.  As Fitness Instructor you will be working on the Leisure Club reception desk, you will take bookings and deal with guest queries, acting as an ambassador for the club and encouraging membership.  Other responsibilities will be to offer guidance on the use of gym equipment, ensuring equipment is fit for use, deliver exercise classes to music in the studio and in the pool, carry out health and safety checks and maintain cleanliness and safety standards.

The successful candidate will already be qualified to level 2 NVQ in Gym/Fitness.

Excellent customer service and teamwork skills are vital as a big part of the role is working on Reception, answering the telephone, meeting guest needs and dealing with queries.  Candidates must be computer literate and have a good telephone manner as well as experience of dealing with the public.

This is a full time role, working 5 days out of 7 to include evenings and weekends.
