About the role:

This is a fantastic opportunity to join the Marketing team and play a key role in leading the delivery of engaging in-store communications to our customers. The role demands a strong team player who is able to work on their own initiative, has great creative and communication skills and thrives in a fast paced environment. Candidates will have had roles as Marketing Manager with a proven track record working in a head office Marketing team. This role is also suited to candidates working in a marketing agency as Senior Account Manager

The ins and outs:

Reporting to the Senior Manager - POS Implementation, you will be responsible for the planning and execution of all GM and George POS on time and to budget. The successful candidate should pride themselves on delivering the best in class implementation for stores and customers

You will be:

•Managing a team who deliver POS to support key strategic initiatives within General Merchandise (GM) and George Fashion
•Weekly reporting on (red, amber, green) RAG status and escalating activity at risk of launch appropriately
•Managing a multi-million pound budget, taking accountability for monthly planning & forecasting and delivery of all activity to budget
•Managing creative and print agencies to drive efficiencies and deliver to budget to a high standard
•Responsible for the leadership and development of the team, making sure key people processes and policies are enacted and enforced (appraisals, talent management, career development, colleague engagement through Your Voice)
•Based in Leeds, travelling to George House (Lutterworth) weekly


What you’ll need:

•A proven track record in a head office marketing team or marketing agency
•Experience leading creative and print agencies to create and execute compelling marketing communications
•Customer focused individual who can translate creative concepts into engaging and effective in store campaigns
•Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to communicate with clarity and impact
•Organised, with experience of multiple project management
•Strong attention to detail
•Ability to work cross functionally and influential stakeholder management
•Proven commercial acumen and budget responsibility
•Proven line management responsibility
