The position can be based at our Daventry Support Office or Welwyn Garden City Head Office



Whilst specific responsibilities will be dependent upon the changing needs of the Tesco business, the following provides an overview of the roles key responsibilities and measures:

- Supporting the delivery of the People plans within my function.

- Advising colleagues on any People policies or processes to further their understanding.

- Providing my team with trends and insights to better enable us to support and influence the function.

- Communicating People initiatives and changes to colleagues within the function I support, to ensure they are well informed and engaged.

- Welcoming new starters, ensuring we have all legal documentation, and liaising with line managers to ensure colleagues are well inducted, upskilled and informed.

- Supporting the colleague life cycle and People routines within my function, by supporting key activities, including people moves, and colleague leave.

- Updating systems inc. OPS, structures charts and talent database, to ensure we have accurate information about colleagues and offer a trusted, seamless service.

- Suggesting developments for the People Plan and supporting continuous improvements for People processes

- Following our Business Code of Conduct and always acting with integrity and due diligence.


Youll need to have demonstrated experience of:

HR experience

Experience building credible and trusting relationships

Experience maintaining accurate data

Customer service or administration experience

Worked in a fast-paced environment

Communication and influencing skills

Prioritisation and time management

Ability to have challenging conversations

Confidentiality

Coaching skills

Personal

Flexibility, ability to plan and organise, responsiveness, creativity, self-starter

Able to build solid working relationships with peers and senior leadership

Ability to demonstrate strong written, verbal communication and presentation skills to all levels of seniority and disciplines within the organisation.
