We have some exciting opportunities for eager and enthusiastic Waiters/Waitresses to join our Conference and Banqueting team at Celtic Manor Resort.

The Convention Centre has 20 meeting rooms, in addition we have the Caernarfon Suite, a fully flexible space which can accommodate up to 1500 for a meeting and 1000 for a dinner. We also have an Exhibition Hall, which is an ideal venue for trade fairs but has also hosted beach parties, nightclubs, conferences in circus tents, gala dinners and of course purpose built exhibitions. In addition to this we have meeting rooms at the Golf Club and in the old Manor House which are popular for weddings and special occasion events.

There are some great opportunities to be involved in delivering 'outdoor' events such as 'Polo at the Manor' when we cater for close to 1000 guests, The 'Celebrity Cup' Golf Tournament and our annual 'Fireworks Extravaganza'. At Christmas we host a range of parties across the Resort with some amazing themes and entertainment which really help to get everyone in the Christmas Party spirit and our teams always enjoy working on these events, helping to ensure that all our guests have the best party possible.

You will be part of a large team of staff who help us deliver all these events. The nature of Conference and Banqueting ensures that no two days are ever the same, you have the chance to experience and be part of some fantastic events and to make a whole new network of friends.

The role requires a good eye for detail to ensure that the highest standards of service are delivered as part of the customer's seamless journey through the Resort. You will need to be an excellent team player, have good communication skills, a passion for delivering high levels of customer service, possess a professional attitude and have high standards of presentation.

Previous experience is preferable however additional training is provided for the right candidates.

Please note we are looking for full time at 37.5 hours per week and includes weekend work and Casual hours

We look forward to hearing from you.

Please register your interest before: Thursday 16th August at 2.00pm.
