The Royal Garden Hotel is one of the UK’s largest five red star hotels comprising of 394 bedrooms, three bars, two restaurants, extensive conference and events spaces and a health club. Priding itself on providing a tailored personalised guest service, the Royal Garden Hotel is located next door to Kensington Palace and some of London’s most famous attractions. The hotel also has a rich and remarkable sporting legacy dating back to the famous World Cup win of 1966.

Our critically acclaimed 3AA Rosette restaurant, Min Jiang, offers guests the most authentic Chinese fine dining experience in London. Using fresh ingredients and traditional cooking styles, Min Jiang offers guests breathtaking views of Kensington Gardens and the London skyline while they enjoy a perfect dining experience.

We are looking for a specialty chef at Chef de Partie level in the Wok section of our Min Jiang kitchen. The ideal candidate brings substantial previous experience in an establishment of similar size and quality. The successful candidate demonstrates a thorough understanding of Chinese cuisine, especially Sichuan, and Chinese BBQ, and is able to demonstrate strong kitchen skills. Previous experience in a specialist cutter chef position is essential. Working knowledge of spoken Mandarin or Cantonese is also essential.

Min Jiang, London is open for lunch and dinner, seven days per week. The hours of work are as business required, normally allowing for two days off per week. You will be expected to work split shifts.
