The Holiday Inn London - Kensington High Street is located just off Kensington High Street. It’s a 706-bedroom 4 star hotel with 13 meeting rooms and extensive spa facilities, and we are looking for a Corporate Sales Manager to join our busy and professional team. We need someone, who is charismatic, professional and well groomed.

We are looking for Corporate Sales Manager to add value to the work of our Sales Team.

The role will focus on managing a portfolio of Corporate Accounts, seeking and nurturing New Business. Ensuring that all activities are coordinated and managed within client expectations. Upselling to client and promoting hotel to maximise hotel revenue. Ensuring hotel and client fulfil Corporate Rate contracted commitments.

Duties and responsibilities

·To effectively manage a portfolio of accounts, key prospect and suspect accounts

·To achieve agreed room nights/revenue targets from the account portfolio

·To identify new accounts within the sales territory

·To effectively manage and develop a portfolio of Network Accounts

·To compile potential analysis forms, tracker and sales action plans for each account in conjunction with hotel

·To have knowledge of the trading conditions and sales objectives of the hotel and focus sales activity to support hotel’s needs

·To monitor and communicate corporate trends and market information and act upon this information as required

·To represent the hotel at exhibitions, trade shows, presentations and such like and similarly to any professional bodies and organisations

·To keep up to date product knowledge on IHG

·Accounts will be managed by the Corporate Sales Manager

·Accounts to contribute to Rooms Revenue in line with the Rooms Revenue Budget

·Key focus – brick walling existing accounts, securing New Business and support to Sales Team

·Provide guests with information (example: loyalty programmes, area attractions, restaurants, facility information) to enhance guest experience.

·Plan and conduct pre-event and post-event meetings with clients and catering staff to determine potential enhancements to the guest experience.
