We are currently seeking a motivated Assistant Restaurant Manager to join the team at our Woodcote Park Clubhouse, near Epsom. You will provide vital support to the Manager in helping run the daily operations of our Restaurant facility, driven by the desire to provide excellent customer service and exceed expectations in the hospitality sector.

The Role

As Assistant Restaurant Manager you will be responsible for the daily supervision of the restaurant team, ensuring they are working effectively to achieve high standards of customer service and are constantly motivated to do so. You will help create a warm and welcoming atmosphere for our members and their guests by ensuring an adequate level of stock and staff are available at all times, and will work to ensure all visitors are kept abreast of current promotions and any new products available.

Working closely with the Restaurant Manager, you will ensure all mise en place is fully prepared on a daily basis, and will continuously strive for perfection in the cleanliness of the Restaurant facility in line with the Club's core values. In the absence of the Manager, you will take responsibility for the Restaurant's daily operation, including minimising any costs and balancing member's accounts at the end of each shift, ensuring all monies are handled carefully and correctly.

The Person

You will be certified in Basic Food Hygiene Level 1 & 2, and will be aware of licensing laws relevant to the Restaurant's daily operation. It is also vital you have proven experience in bar / restaurant work, ideally whilst managing a team. You must possess excellent communication skills and help motivate colleagues to exceed expectations every day, while displaying an inherent passion for customer service when conversing with our members and their guests.
