The Role

We operate spectacular ships all over the world, through strong cruise brands such as P&O Cruises and Cunard. Work with us as an Inventory Senoir Adviser and you'll go far too. You'll be responsible for the management of the inventory optimisation, berthing & dispatch processes in line with our business strategy. Your main focus will be to optimise the revenue performance through the management of inventory availabilities.  You'll identify opportunities to deliver revenue improvement, through process review and challenging strategy.

As a Inventory Senior Adviser you will implement business strategy through the application of the inventory optimisation process. You will make sure that inventory is managed in a way to ensure all possible revenue is maximised for the business, including the control of grade and promo holds and supplementary passenger limits. Following the implementation of promotional 'pulses' along with the introduction and pricing of different fare types, you will work closely with Revenue Analysts to develop optimising strategies and employ these across individual voyages.

You will follow the life cycle of cruises from launch to sailing, managing the berthing and dispatch of each cruise departure. By communicating with the onboard staff where necessary, you will ensure smooth turnarounds and a positive guest experience.

Experience Needed

We are looking for someone who is enthusiastic and driven. It's critical that you have experience working with POLAR and you will also need to have first class communication skills for this role, as relationship management is an important part of the role.

Key to the success of the role will be your ability to challenge current processes and drive efficiencies within the Revenue Management department. Further to this, you'll also provide support for the revenue automation programme and liaise effectively all areas of Commercial.
