Job Details
Our Area Coaches work within the KFC UK and Ireland Operations team and have responsibility for between 8 and 10 restaurants and lead a team of up to 400.
The focus of the Area Coach role is to provide transformational leadership and high impact coaching in order to support their team to achieve overall unit performance across three key metrics Grow People, Grow Customer & Grow Business. This role will require commercial acumen and the ability to think beyond the core operational elements in order to effectively lead and inspire a team to achieve breakthrough results.
Key job functions include
This role requires leadership ability beyond that of a typical area operations manager. As a high potential Area Coach you will be on a development path towards that of a broader coach role (e.g. - Regional Ops Coach, Ops Director or another role with our RSC). Therefore this role requires a strategic medium to long term view which translates into:
- Setting, engaging and executing the area/region vision
- Analysing trends and pushing yourself and your team to produce multiple solutions to drive step-change performance
- Thorough commercial and strategic planning as well as execution
- In-depth management and operational expertise
- People focused at all levels rapport and relationship building as well as more formal team and individual development
- Influencing skills at all levels of the organisation
- Ability to work remotely yet establish and maintain lasting relationships throughout the operations teams as well as at our central Restaurant Support Centre (RSC)
- Driving the results of each of the restaurants within your area

Education; you will be degree qualified or have a similar qualification.
Experience; Those who have previously joined us as Area Coaches have come from many diverse backgrounds; from supermarkets and pubs to high street retailers and banks. We look for pace of progression, breadth of exposure, tangible breakthrough results, ambition and a desire for career progression.

- A full clean driving licence
