Chef de Partie - St George's Hill Lawn and Tennis Club

RESPONSIBLE TO: HEAD CHEF

£22k per annum plus the SRR bonus worth 10% on top of that, paid overtime above

40 hours per week, predominately straight shifts, 28 days holiday per year.

AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY

• Prepare and cook menu items to a high standard
• Create daily specials
• Create menu ideas for new menus – get your food out there
• Communicate with Head/Sous Chef ideas, problems, etc.
• Manage your time effectively – Cigarette breaks, phones, football
• Maintain high levels of hygiene at all times
• Take responsibility for section cleaning
• Ensure prep lists are complete
• Look at your sections stock – order sheet
• Assist and support Commis Chefs
• Consistency of portion control and standards of cooking
