Trade at the Boot and Shoe comes from the local village and surrounding areas. With a mixture of regular drinkers and diners and those who travel from further afield. A full menu is offered Tuesday-Sunday, with a set tea for two menu for £9 offered Tuesday- Friday 5pm onwards.  A quiz is held weekly on Sunday, pool teams on Monday and Thursdays and darts & dominoes on Tuesdays. Seasonal events such as live entertainment at Christmas and New Year prove popular with customers. The pub is dog friendly and due to the location of the pub this is a huge attraction to customers. Current food service times are Tuesday – Saturday 5pm until 8.45pm and Sunday 12pm-3pm & 5pm-7pm. Opening hours are Monday – Saturday 5pm-11.30pm and Sunday 12pm-11pm.
