Membership Sales Executive

Old Thorns Manor Hotel is a luxury four-star resort in Hampshire. The hotel is easily accessible from the A3, and only 30 minutes from the M25 and Portsmouth. With recent redevelopment and expansion, Old Thorns offers luxury accommodation, conference & function facilities, health club, beauty spa, restaurants & bars and a championship golf course.

Our Elevation Health Club boasts the latest Matrix gym equipment and our wet areas include a 20m swimming pool, tropical bubble pool, sauna, steam room, ice bucket, heated loungers, foot spas. We are currently recruiting for a Membership Sales Executive to co-ordinate membership recruitment and retention for this fantastic facility.

  Main Duties:

• Booking potential members for show around of facilities
• Conducting show arounds
• Selling different membership packages to potential members
• Liaising with personal trainers for diarising induction programmes for members
• Suggesting marketing campaigns to increase membership
• Recording membership details on Premier system
• Recording membership attrition and reporting statistics to Health Club Manager
• Suggesting membership retention incentives
• Liaising with new members to ensure they are getting the best from their membership
• Collection of membership fees in arrears
• Liaising with pro shop for golf memberships and estate memberships
• Participation in membership events and promotional fairs.

  What we are looking for:

• You will have previous experience or a keen interest in the sport and leisure industry.
• You will be a motivated, results driven individual with previous sales experience.
• You will be confident, presentable and have a pleasant telephone manner.
• You will have good communication skills, a friendly and professional manner and be able to build a rapport with members.
• You will be IT literate with a working knowledge of MS Excel and MS Word.
