Carnival UK has three new cruise ships being built to join the P&O Cruises and Cunard fleets over the next four years. The Senior Manager, Shipbuilding, provides planning and project management over the full life cycle of these new ship programmes, ensuring that shipbuild activities are well coordinated and that contract obligations are fully met.

The role encompasses design oversight as well as planning for build and delivery.  It is CUK's day to day point of contact for shipbuild matters.

The Senior Manager, Shipbuilding, is accountable for project management of shipbuild activities and is instrumental in ensuring that designs are fit for purpose and contract obligations are fully met.  It is also responsible for shipbuilding contract management on behalf of the brand; controlling costs, managing shipbuild lump sum allowances and ensuring supplier selections are appropriate. 

Candidates will need to have excellent communication and stakeholder management skills and be able to demonstrate that they lead and deliver results through cross functional teams.  Previous shipbuild or project management experience is essential.
