In-Store Marketing Planner – George Fashion - Marketing
Based at George House in Lutterworth
George is the exclusive clothing brand for Asda in the UK. We are currently one of the top clothing retailers in the UK and have changed the face of clothing retailing since our launch in 1990. We are now recruiting for a talented In-Store Marketing Planner who will be based at our George Home Office in Lutterworth, Leicestershire.
This is a fantastic opportunity to join the Marketing team and play a key role in delivering engaging in-store communications to our customers. The role demands a strong team player who is able to work on their own initiative, has great creative and communication skills and thrives in a fast paced environment.
Candidates may have had roles as Marketing Executive & Marketing Co-ordinator with a proven track record working in a head office Marketing team. This role is also suited to candidates working in a marketing agency.
The role:
Management of Point of Sale (POS) for all seasonal campaigns, events and key strategic projects within budget and to critical path deadlines
Management of POS for all tactical promotions
Management of creative and print agencies, including objective setting and overseeing weekly output
Ensuring legal compliance, price and availability checks for all POS executions
Ensuring all POS creative is in line with agreed brand guidelines
Management of communication to retail, leading to ‘right first time’ implementation of POS
Work closely with print agencies to drive innovation in POS, keeping up with new technologies
Regularly conduct competitor reviews
What you’ll need:
A proven track record working in a head office marketing team or marketing agency
Experience briefing creative and print agencies to creative and execute compelling marketing communications
Customer focused individual who can translate creative concepts into engaging and effective in store campaigns
Excellent communication and presentation skills and ability to communicate with clarity and impact
Organised, with experience of multiple project management
Strong attention to detail
Ability to work cross functionally and influential stakeholder management
Creative individual, with an eye for fashion
Experience gained within a fast paced retail environment would be an advantage
