Day Receptionist - Gorse Hill Hotel, Woking

The recently refurbished Gorse Hill Hotel in Woking is now recruiting for a motivated  and confident Day Receptionist, who has a great understanding of the hospitality industry, be driven to go above and beyond for our guests.

About The Role Of Day Receptionist

We want a front of house team member to provide genuine, authentic and memorable experiences to our guests and maintain high levels of service. You’ll be flexible enough to be the first point of contact for guests when on the front desk and to support the food and beverage team, as and when required.

We are looking for a person who:

  • Is flexible, self-motivated and has a proactive approach
  • Is highly organised, thrives on pressure with excellent attention to detail
  • A “can do” mentality and be guest focused
  • Good organizational skills are essential
  • Excellent grooming standards
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Helps encourage guest loyalty by developing friendly, personalised relationships
  • Eager to learn and develop within the hospitality industry
  • Flexible with working varying shift pattern requirements
  • Good team player with a flexible and cooperative attitude

Skills / Experience

The successful Receptionist candidate will have:

  • Minimum 1 years of experience in similar role
  • Knowledge of Front of House system – Opera system is a plus
  • Excellent customer services and communication skills

Salary Package / Benefits

  • Basic salary range £16,500 - £17,000 (DOE)
