We are currently recruiting for a passionate, driven and people obsessed Kitchen Manager to join our team. Rebuilt after a stable fire in 1977, the Sun is now one of McMullen’s now locally famous Chicken & Grill pubs, which are uniquely and individually designed, with perfectly crafted service to encourage guests to return and bring their friends
Still very much a pub, it’s the perfect place for a drink, be it a pint of locally brewed McMullen ale, an expertly mixed cocktail or a glass of wine.

Key Kitchen Manager Responsibilities

• Delivering the food concept to Company standard and exceeding guest expectations
• All aspects of food stock control including ordering, deliveries, stock taking and control of wastage
• Training and developing the kitchen team so that they can reach their potential
• Coaching and mentoring other members of the team
• Maintaining exceptional standard of cleanliness and adhering to all aspects of Food Safety and Health & Safety compliance in accordance with the law and Company policy
