We are looking for a passionate, talented and enthusiastic Purchasing Coordinator to join our team at Bulgari Hotel London.

You will be responsible for coordinating the store and receiving areas as follows:

      1) Procurement

As required, place orders with suitable suppliers for specified materials ensuring goods are delivered on the required date and purchased at the most competitive rates and within budget.

Ensure quality levels and performance of ordered materials are in line with required standards

Consolidate purchases of materials to achieve maximum economic benefit.

      2) Purchasing Standards

In liaison with Purchasing Manager and Cost Controller, inform other departments of all relevant information regarding changes in materials, major price movements, delivery lead times and individual supply situations.

Assist the Purchasing Manager in maintaining up to date the Purchasing Software ensuring that prices and average ratios are accurate and relevant.

Ensure that all stock is accurately transferred into and from the dedicated stores and para level respected.

     3) Invoicing and POs

      Ensure that Purchase Orders are promptly issued via Fourth or FUSION and information                     is accurately presented for management approval.

Process three way marching when reconciling invoices with purchase orders and delivery notes.

      4) Stores

Issue reporting showing discrepancies on timely basis and provide sound and accurate information upon month end.

Verify slow movement materials and inform management.

OTHER JOB FUNCTIONS:

Coordinating and in case support the Purchasing Receiver when needed.

Representing the Purchasing Manager when absent.

You will also research and evaluate suppliers, negotiate and renegotiate contracts with suppliers, create and send Purchasing Orders as well as monitor purchases through the delivery process.

The Purchasing Coordinator is mainly responsible for the integrity of our purchasing & inventory system and companywide communications regarding changes to the system. The Purchasing Coordinator works closely with the Purchasing Manager, therefore, the ideal candidate has proven experience managing inventory or experience in a similar position.

We encourage a diverse workforce however you will be required to have excellent levels of written and spoken English and be eligible to work in the UK. Fluency in a second language would be beneficial.
