The place

The Old Barnhouse is a contemporary twist on the classic country pub with exposed beams and tones of character. The park itself is owners only so you can really get to know your customers. Food, service and overall experience has to meet our customer’s 5-star expectations. 

The job

Supporting the Chef with the efficient and successful running of the kitchen, you’ll assist in driving excellent service and standards, ensuring the kitchen is ready for service, maintaining regular communication with the front of house team in order to ensure everything runs smoothly in the restaurant. You’ll be hands on, serving and presenting food to an excellent standard, stepping up in the absence of the Chef, as well as ensuring high standards of cleanliness and food hygiene.

About you

You’re friendly, positive, a great team player an, organised, get the detail right, meet deadlines, quickly understand what’s needed, want to excel, buzz on doing a great job and basically want to contribute to the success of the whole team.

Experience

You’ll have previous experience of working in a similar role, knowledge/awareness of food safety, and a level two food safety certificate.

Pay

£8.50 - £9.00 per hour, depending on experience.

Hours

Hours will be offered on a casual basis and we anticipate the duration of the role will be for around nine months. Hours will vary, and will include a variety of shifts.
