About the role:

As the Ethics Manager, you will be responsible for full oversight of the ethics case management process and will support in promoting and developing the Ethics programme.

The Ins and Outs:

Reporting to the Senior Manager – Ethics you will:
Be responsible for overseeing the end to end process for Ethics cases ensuring that all contacts are managed appropriatelyEnsure that cases are completed within the relevant timeframe and have accountability for delivering on case management metricsAnalyse Ethics contacts and use judgement to ensure issues are escalated and investigated at the appropriate level Respond quickly to serious Ethics reports and high risk Ethics issues and escalate to the relevant International and UK business partners Manage a caseload of complex Ethics casesBe responsible for quality assurance for all Ethics investigations Support a team of Ethics Coordinators and be responsible for overseeing any advice or opinions delivered by CoordinatorsWork closely with our International team members to support with delivery of International programmes Be a key contact for Ethics business partnersUse Ethics data to consider risks and implement strategies to manage Ethics risk across the whole Asda estateSupport the Senior Manager to implement strategies to develop the Ethics programmeDevelop training and awareness materials and be involved in the delivery of business-wide training programmesSupport the Senior Manager via projects and key responsibilities, as and when needed.
What you’ll need:
Keen interest in the subject matter areaStrong personal integrityAbility to maintain confidentiality and experience working with sensitive business/personal informationExcellent organisational skills /time-management skills / project management skillsStrong leadership skills and ability to work cross functional projects / teamsGood communication skills and the confidence to deal with business partners at all levels both Internationally and in the UKProfessional approach, with good inter-personal skillsStrong attention to detail but ability to flex to enable teams to see the bigger pictureExperience in incident management and conducting investigations
Preferred:
Legal or HR professionalExperience managing a high volume caseloadAn understanding of the key principles of Employment lawExperience in retail environment
