As a Website Editor within the Caravan Parks ECommerce team you are responsible for helping to increase traffic to the websites, showcasing quality content, and making the user experience inspiring, simple, consistent, relevant and innovative. You update, manage and produce website content, functionality and rich media across all three brands; Haven Holidays, Caravan Sales and Owner Services, ensuring alignment with the Caravan parks strategy and BOFA; You ensure quality and standards, manage the reflection of the product and the translation of the brand online.

All our Team Members aim to deliver this at all times, enjoying working in a busy, fast paced, fun and challenging environment.

As a Website Editor I am responsible for:

  • Creating and updating inspiring content and assets (copy, images, videos, testimonials, images, infographics, maps etc.) across all websites, microsites and splash pages. Managing the process via the CMS.
  • Ensuring content on all sites is an accurate representation of the product, audited regularly and that our pages are beautifully and commercially presented to aid the overall brand experience and conversion.
  • Optimising on page content for SEO, ensuring all redirects and other SEO functions are performing to best practice.
  • Running regular content audits and recommending improvements around the use and types of content.
  • Running regular competitor website reviews and recommending learnings around the use and types of content.
  • Managing CMS and website queries relating to content.
  • Assisting with website testing requirements, including online booking engine and Seaware releases.
  • Reporting any issues, recommending improvements and following these through to completion.
  • Content analysis and reporting through GA.
  • Assisting and covering for the other Website Editors when required as well as any other ad hoc task required to support the team and the business.

As a Website Editor I am:

  • Customer centric with a sound understanding of the customer audiences, digital and ecommerce best practice and innovation opportunities.
  • Conversion focused; commercially astute and driven; creative with a passion and care for effective and inspiring content.
  • Confident working with a CMS, with HTML, Photoshop, Microsoft Office and GA; confident in technical content optimisation; experienced in SEO.
  • A self-starter who consistently demonstrates initiative and an enthusiasm to learn more; highly organised, thorough, precise and detail orientated; a reliable team player who enjoys working closely and communicating with others; who can juggle tight deadlines and manage volumes of work to a high quality.
