Social Media Executive – The River Lee Hotel, Cork

An exciting opportunity is now available for a passionate and experienced Social Media Executive to join The River Lee, a Doyle Collection hotel. 

The River Lee has embarked on a transformation journey with a significant multi-million-euro investment programme which commenced in April of this year. The transformation comprised the re-design of public spaces including a new bar, restaurant and terrace creating a social hub within the city.

As such, we are now looking to welcome a Social Media Executive to join our Sales and Marketing Team. Based on site in Cork, this role oversees the management of the social media strategy for the River Lee hotel and River Club as well as developing creative opportunities to develop and improve the hotel's online marketing positioning.

Key responsibilities will include proactively managing social media activity across all channels on a daily basis, creating monthly social media plans and strategies, conduct market research to generate new ideas and assist with the development of marketing opportunities with third parties by keeping up to date on local news and events.

The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of social media channels and have a proven track record in creating engaging and effective social media campaigns within a luxury environment.
