What is the main purpose of the role?

• Clean all floors in the colleague eating and changing facilities as well as the heart of house corridor.
• Maintain the cleanliness of the colleague eating area and the clearance of swill bins and dustbins.
• Keep clean and clear pot wash and plate wash areas to Health Hygiene and Safety regulations.
• Store crockery, cutlery and all cooking utensils in correct places within the colleague eating area including the salad bar, jacket potato oven and hot plates.
• Ensure that the colleague area is prepared with cutlery, crockery and serving utensils.
• Ensure that cups for both water and hot drinks are available at all times and topped up throughout the day.
• Ensure that the colleague fridge is fully stocked in line with the Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner menu.
• Identify daily cleaning schedule tasks to be completed by set schedule including canteen and colleague changing areas.
• Ensure the two week rolling colleague menu is followed to specification and if not speak with the Kitchen to meet the required standard.
• Report any damaged items in your area of responsibility to your Head of Department.
• Carry out any other duties as reasonably requested by your Supervisors and Management Team
