Senior Loyalty and Cruise Sales Manager - Fleet - Ship Based

Making sure that our guests have the holiday of a lifetime is what makes us tick. Everyday P&O Cruises guests return to book another cruise and making sure that loyalty is rewarded is critical to the success of our business. As Senior Loyalty and Future Cruise Sales Manager, you will help P&O Cruises onboard sales team to drive their future cruise sales targets. The art of selling through service is at the heart of what you do – you understand that building robust relationships with guests is the most effective way to maximise the opportunity.

Key responsibilities: 

As Senior Loyalty and Future Cruise Sales Manager, you will:

  • Develop strategies and proactively seek new ideas for initiatives to deliver increased sales and improved guest experience
  • Recognise the link between Loyalty and Sales
  • Is creative and questions conventional approaches – you’ll encourage new ideas and innovation within your team
  • Understand your competitor offering
  • Create business plans outlining key initiatives to improve both sales and customer service
  • Act as a role model, you will anticipate and plan effectively for change as well as identify and unlock employee potential

As a respected people manager you will challenge your team, responding well to being challenges as they present themselves. You’ll understand that creating an open and honest team culture with mutual respect will help the team to thrive.

It is important that you are able to manage the delivery of the benefits of the Loyalty scheme on every cruise, acting quickly and calmly when a passenger’s requirements or demands change, or escalate in a timely manner. Your ability to work towards onboard resolution for loyalty related complaints and identify opportunities to go the extra mile for passengers will help you to stand out from the crowd

Life onboard is different and rewarding. This is an excellent opportunity to further develop your career with a company who puts its people and guests at the centre of everything we do. The contract lengths are either 4 or 6 months onboard with 2 months leave, and life onboard involves working 10 hours a day, 7 days a week. Your 10 hours will be split between morning, afternoon and evening activities.
