Kitchen Assistant

We are looking for a talented individual to join our team as a Kitchen Assistant. This vital role is responsible for preparing and producing food to the highest standard while maintaining excellent food hygiene and Health and Safety practices. You will also play an important part in supporting the Kitchen Manager to maximise profits and reduce wastage at all times.

In order to be a great Kitchen Assistant at YHA we are looking for people with:

• Previous experience of working within a commercial kitchen
• Experience of working in high pressured environments

Additional Information:

Primary working area is in the kitchen where it is necessary to cook for groups, call order, and breakfast. However, extra hours can be picked up in other areas of the hostel, for example housekeeping, bar, front of house, or Reception, depending on skills and experience. Live in or out available.
