The Space Planning team, supportthe planning and delivery of theSpace Strategy, across UKROI and CE.

The Assistant Space Planner supports the Space Planning Manager with planning the critical path, for the development plan, building plans for new and refit Stores and analyzing data on performance. Working with teams across Retail, Finance, Logistics and Merchandising, you are required to align the business strategy and financial goals through reviewing all elements of global sales/space performance and estate space utilisation.

- Plan optimum ranging and space utilisation at business and store level.
- Manage the Development programme for all Store space changes.
- Assist in all areas of pre-season space Planning and in season space reviews of planning processes.
- Maintain the reporting systems for space information and space audit.
- Coordinate space requirements for Clip Strips, Brands and Seasonal space requirements.
- Update and maintain weekly planning tools and reports.
- Support and deputise for the Space Planning Manager and wider team with any ad hoc analysis which is required.

Strong analytical and commercial skills.
Advanced understanding of Excel.
Excellent communication
Understanding of SQL, MS Access etc. beneficial

Strong background in Merchandising, Data Analysis, Logistics, Retail and or related roles.
Have an understanding of space in Stores and the metrics used.
Need to be ready for Assistant Merchandiser level or have demonstrated Leadership Skills.
