Lythe Hill is an historic Country House Hotel, set in 20 acres of woodland on the slopes of the Surrey/Sussex Hills and is located on the outskirts of the market town of Haslemere. Lythe Hill offers luxury accommodation, Spa, Gym, Restaurant and private dining rooms and is a popular venue for weddings and events.

We are currently recruiting for a Health Club Manager for maternity cover.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Manage day to day health club operations
  • Recruit, train and manage team members to ensure high motivation and ongoing development
  • Delegate responsibilities to team members and ensure high levels of customer care and service are delivered to guests and members
  • Driving promotional activities and sales awareness to maximise membership potential and ensure high retention levels 
  • Be accountable for achieving sales targets and operating within financial targets 
  • Ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness are maintained throughout the facility
  • Ensuring health, safety and COSHH regulations are complied with and club rules are observed by members and guests
  • Ensure effective liaison with other Hotel departments

What we are looking for: 

  • You will have previous management experience within the leisure industry
  • You will be a have strong leadership skills and be able to develop and motivate a team
  • You will have good communication skills and a friendly and professional manner
  • You will have a real drive to deliver outstanding service and exceptional customer care
  • A Leisure Management or similar relevant qualification is preferred
